“For context, I’m a 30-something who travels extensively and loves design-driven concept hotels.
This isn’t a hotel. It’s a nightclub with rooms. Their priority is to their lounge/ club downstairs and to their rooftop lounge/ club upstairs. The hotel is secondary. There is no dedicated elevator or lobby for the hotel so as you check in and go to your room you are surrounded by a club. I checked in in the evening and to even get to the front desk I had to be let in by the bouncer. While checking in you have to shout to be heard over the loud music from the DJ who is set up just a few feet from the check-in desk. The bass from the music in the club shook my hotel room. When I mentioned to is to the front desk they told me not to worry, the music would stop around 1am. They are aiming for a cool vibe, but they miss the mark and just come off as unprofessional. In comparison to a hotel like the Ace they don’t even come close. Don’t book here unless you enjoy having drunk 20- something’s getting high in the hallway outside your room.”

“Except for a getting a second contact high from people either just outside or smoking pot near an air vent this place was great. Very fun vibe and the food was pretty yummy. Decor is funky and fun.”
