First off let me say a big thank you to Hilton for accommodating my partner and I's stay this past weekend! When we arrived on our check in for 4pm, the desk staff was super helpful, friendly, and so welcoming! I believe Roger had checked us in that day, and I already chose my room on the 5th floor though the Hilton app, however Roger also asked if we'd like to go on higher floor so he gave us the 8th! He made our stay super welcoming, and had great hospitality within our small encounter. The hotel is recently remodeled and it is SO nice! Near the check-in desk, there is a small little store that is filled with lots of snacks + drinks to your liking! The elevators are also super convenient and high-end technology. All you have to do is press your floor number on the tablet and it will tell you which A/B/C elevator to hop on. Hardly had to bump into anyone in the elevators and super quick trips. I'd give this hotel 5/5. Out of all the Hiltons I've visited, this trip has been the most welcoming and the staff are so so kind. We also made use of the parking as well and never had trouble finding parking in the garage at all, if anything we always found a spot so close to the elevators! Definitely make use of the Hilton app to use your digital key and request any housekeeping you may need.

I Enjoyed the staff enjoy the room but it's a weird configuration depending on which way you come in to the hotel from the convention center or the street or the parking lot but once you're in you'll enjoy the overall atmosphere and amenities. I didn't get a chance to enjoy the bar perfectly situated across from the registration table, but it looks like a cool place to chill.

Stayed 2 nights at one of their nicest suites on 17th floor and forgot to pack my watch. I called day I check out as well as text their messaging service. They verified and found it but each time I call to go pick up and not waste a drive no one has any information and I get no calls back. I have to call, wait on hold and get told no one there can help. Sad they would not mail it to me after I spent so much money and now “lost” it

I had a wonderful stay at this Hilton location. My room was spacious, clean and comfortable. I found the staff here very pleasant and accommodating. The location of this Hilton in downtown San Jose is great with many restaurants within walking distance. I highly recommend Bijan Cafe for a morning coffee and pastry or croissant. Scott’s Seafood is an excellent restaurant for a delicious dining experience. Both are within a short walking distance of the hotel. I highly recommend the Hilton in San Jose and I look forward to my next future stay.

Good rooms and great location if you are attending a convention. Lacking some of the nicer things you might want for a vacation. When we were there, there was no valet, bell, or room service. The pool and spa were tiny, fitness center was okay. The ice machine on our floor was missing and on the floors that did have filtered water was dispensed extremely slowly. Breakfast was adequate but limited and expensive. Only buffet with no a-la-carte option making it even more expensive for a light bite before heading out. All the windows were extremely dirty, even in the communal restaurant, which took away from any views that may have been available. While some reception staff were very nice and (we had a really great check in experience), some seemed clueless about the hotel services. Laundry was reasonably priced for a hotel and was returned to the wardrobe in the room neatly but did have to be dropped off at the reception desk despite the reception offering to collect. The safe did not lock when we arrived and required an engineer, but the engineer came and resolved the issue quickly.

We were not notified in advance of all of the construction at the hotel cashing most is the amenities to be closed. There were things left in the room that indicates it had not been thoroughly cleaned
