It was satisfying stay, and the staff Windi Yiu was very kind and friendly that when we arrived She made us so delighted. But, about resort, I suggest service at the poolside, I wish Sanya Shangri-la have some rental tubes and balls so families can enjoy conveniently. And the edges of pool was so slippery that my family got injuries(bruised pretty big). It must be handled. Thanks.

Wonderful stay, very nice staff and good food.

We came all the way from London expecting to enjoy the warm and greenery of Hainan Island but we were assigned to a backroom facing a big open construction site with mechanical diggers just outside our balcony making the balcony unusable and no view at all. This was very disappointing considering the size of the hotel with nearly 500 rooms and the fact that we booked a costly club room with garden view. We complained and were moved to another room with a decent garden view away from the construction. Why on earth we were given the original room in the first place ??? We booked a club room expecting to use the club lounge for some happy hour relaxation. But the club lounge was full of noisy pre school children running amok with parents making little attempt to stop them. There were nearly twenty young children at one time in the full lounge that it felt like a kindergarten. It seems the concept of hotel club lounge in here is very different from the rest of the world, parents treat the club lounge as their family lounge where their children can play and be fed during happy hours. So don't waste your money with their club rooms or choose another hotel which there are plenty along Haitang Bay.
