We stayed Sunday 10/30 & Min 10/31.We did not have hot water for showers Mondaymorning. When I called Fri T desk was told several rooms had called. Asked for manager and for partial room credit and to be switched to room with hot water.Was told manager would call me .Received no call , did not get switched or any credit or comp.At a hotel of this standard, I would expect a resolution .It is expected to be able to have a warm if not hot shower, that is part of what the guest is paying for.For the manager to ignore and to not respond is unacceptable.Otherwise rooms were clean.We have stayed at this facility before, but probably not again due to managers lack of response. I am so impressed with this hotel I haven’t even finished my stay yet we’re just staying one night but the carpets beautiful the TVs are brand spanking new the sheets are bleached white cotton everything is wonderful most comfortable beds but the shower took the cake it was just powerful pressure in there good Lord you didn’t even need soap! Not to mention next-door is the greatest steakhouse on earth I’m eating there tonight at 8 PM! While we only stayed one night at the Copper King Convention Center, I was expecting so much more out of the hotel.Our room was really hard to find...probably because we used the wrong elevator (but that wasn't clearly explained to us at check in) so we had to walk past the pool to get to our room.Then we opened the door and saw that the room had no windows...it was like going into a large walk-in closet.Very disappointing to not have any kind of view...even of a parking lot!While I booked only a "standard room" with 2 Queen Beds, I didn't realize it was a room without windows!On the "bright" side, the room was so dark we could easily go to sleep without disturbances from outside noise.Beds were comfortable and the bathroom was typical of hotels like this. Room seemed clean. Location seems a bit off the beaten path. Wasn't informed that breakfast was free, so we ate elsewhere. This hotel absolutely blew me away. They didn’t skimp on a single detail. The staff, the facility, and even the complimentary breakfast was next level. I HIGHLY recommend. New and improved style deadbolt on the door. Lobby is huge with plenty of places to sit. Love the layout of the pool area and the seating are on the balcony surrounding it. The free apple, orange or banana at the front desk was appreciated.The bad things....the fitness room was WAY too hot, almost dangerous. There was no thermostat to adjust that I could find in the fitness room. Pool room smells very heavily like chlorine to the point of being intolerable and the pool was closed one of the nights I was there. The hotel layout is kind of confusing (ie navigate from "E" wing to front desk without going outside). No breakfast was ever mentioned during check-in and it was not mentioned in the information binder in the room so assumed they had none. Heard a rumor after I checked out they had a free breakfast, still don't know if they do or not. The in-room informational binder was really weak, not much info in there.
